The Pentecostals of Compton (The POC Family) is a true biblical Apostolic church in authority, power, demonstration, and doctrine. We work hard, for we know we are the continuation of the Church in the Book of Acts.
We proclaim that Jesus is Lord in experience, worship, praise, prayer, unity and holiness. We believe in and preach the whole gospel!
The POC Family is a dynamic church with a heart for every person who comes through our doors and a focus on reaching the lost and hurting in our community, in both our nation and throughout the world. The POC is the perfect place for all to come and enjoy the presence of God and experience the love and joy that only Jesus Christ can provide.
Each of our services are designed to bring hearts and minds into unison with the Lord Jesus Christ. The worship, teaching, preaching, giving, and Bible studies, and home groups have a common goal: to awaken you to a deeper connection of who Jesus is and what He wants to accomplish in and through your life. Our prayer is that you would find friendship with God’s people, and joy in His presence! Our weekly spirit-filled worship services are Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings.

The Christian life is a journey, and a journey is made up of steps. At The POC, we want to encourage you through that next step, whatever it may be. Our purpose is to connect with God, grow together, and serve others as a unified body of believers. With this in mind, ask yourself “What does God want for me right now in each of these three areas?” An abiding, thriving relationship with God must be the catalyst for growth and service. Because of this, we believe that every church gathering, worship song, home group meeting, and activity should be centered around Jesus Christ, His finished work on our behalf, and His ongoing work through our lives. Through Pastor Efrain Garibay’s Thursday night Bible Study class, home groups, and worship services, our desire is to help you discover the next point of growth in your life as we enjoy the journey together.
